SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT MASTERCLASS

Cinemagic will host a Script Development Masterclass on Tuesday 9th February from 6pm-9pm in Rasharkin Community Centre for 16 -25 year olds.

The masterclass  is free of charge. No experience is necessary but you must email shauna@cinemagic.org.uk to secure a place.

In 2014/15, Cinemagic produced A CHRISTMAS STAR which was Northern Ireland’s first ever Christmas Feature Film made for young people by young people. The project was a huge success and involved industry professionals such as Liam Neeson, Pierce Brosnan, Lord Julian Fellowes, Suranne Jones and Robert James Collier to name but a few.The project  gave 40 young future filmmakers their first ever credit on a feature film. Cinemagic is now in development for a new project and will be offering a Script Development Masterclass with writer Maire Campbell (A Christmas Star, Delicate Things, Punch) for young people aged 16-25 who are interested in screenwriting and gaining some insight into the film industry. This is an opportunity for young people to develop their skills and contribute their thoughts and ideas to a new exciting initiative.

This project is supported by OFMdFM through the Central Good Relations Fund
