On The Pulse Short Film Festival

Cinemagic On the Pulse is an annual film festival presenting a month-long programme of screenings, film education events, talks and workshops celebrating the short film genre and short form storytelling. The festival exhibits a contemporary programme of the very best international short films for young audiences as well as showcasing short films made by local young filmmakers. On the Pulse also illustrates the importance of shorts filmmaking in the development of practical skills and in the development of sustainable and long-term careers.
On the Pulse has a competitive strand for Irish filmmakers Under 30.

Submissions are CLOSED for 2026.
