OUR STORY

Cinemagic is an award-winning film charity and the Cinemagic Belfast Festival is the leading film and television festival for young people in the UK and Ireland. We love the magic of film and television and recognise its power to educate, motivate and inspire.

Cinemagic’s 34th International Film and Television Festival for Young People takes place in Belfast this October! The Festival is funded by the Department for Communities through Northern Ireland Screen, and it will present a programme of unmissable films and film industry opportunities for children, families, schools, young adults and young filmmakers, as well as masterclasses for aspiring film, television and media creators.

The film programme offers a cinematic window to the world presenting a diverse range of storytelling, celebrating universal stories of youth and youth perspectives
