Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival for Young People currently has a vacancy for a Digital Marketing and Engagement Officer.
This role will take the lead on strategic implementation and day-to-day delivery of Cinemagic’s digital output and events engagement with the organisation’s target audience. A strong focus on online engagement with audiences aged 4-25 including schools, educators, students, parents, delivery partners.
The candidate will proactively create and deliver engaging campaigns across digital platforms and social media with proficiency in videography. Working across the organisation you will work on developing, promoting and delivering events, developing unique content for diverse audiences in the UK, Ireland and internationally.
The candidate will be required to work on a range of media channels including social, video, website, networking, online/printed publications, in a fast-paced environment and with a strong focus on return on investment, user generated content and engagement at live events.
Vacancy: DIGITAL MARKETING AND ENGAGEMENT OFFICER CINEMAGIC
Basic Working Hours: 37 hours weekly including working at evening and weekend events as required.
Contract: March to December 2023
Salary: Equivalent to £23,270 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
-Delivering Cinemagic’s high quality creative content, via social media, e-marketing, and video campaigns that engages Cinemagic audiences in the UK and internationally generating increased awareness and engagement of stakeholders.
-Responsible for social media content and campaigns by monitoring, creating and moderating social media posts and taking action to increase interactions. This includes working with partners to create reports and recommendations on posts, platform use, post design/editing and implementation
-End-to-end production of a range of digital content for the organisation, including videography from concept to completion.
-Maintaining Cinemagic website and its development by implementing changes, using initiative to ensure the site meets quality standards, brand guidelines and messaging is consistent across all digital channels,
-Taking the key technical/digital role in delivery of events and overseeing events where required.
-Assist in the planning of a range of creative and innovative marketing initiatives to increase audience awareness which contribute to the delivery of box office revenue targets.
-Design and Deliver e-newsletters and with a focus on sales and audience development and design audience surveys with interpretation of feedback data.
-Working with the Festival team and partners to create accessible online content that engages people from all communities including people with additional needs and people at risk of social exclusion.
-Ensuring regular, timely and accurate updates of all digital content.
-Actively maintaining a library of video, audio, photos and other content from Cinemagic events, including file management, editing and cataloguing.
-Support teachers/educators/parents/young audiences via phone, email and video calls relating to Cinemagic online engagement enquiries.
-Maintain accurate reports and statistical analysis of all online engagement activity.
-Live Events Promotion and Delivery of events as per Cinemagic Festival output, dealing with all stakeholders from Educators to Funders and Partners.
-Participate in regular team meetings to review progress and plan monthly digital marketing priorities.
-Carry out any other duties appropriate to the post as may be reasonably requested by employer.
