There are three titles exclusively for Republic of Ireland audiences, streaming 30th October to 5th November and available now to pre-book. These titles replace the cinema titles that the festival had to cancel as part of’ Cinemagic Dublin’ in May this year due to the health pandemic.

MY FAVORITE WAR

When Ilze discovers the remains of a German soldier in her backyard sandbox, she begins to find other stories buried underneath the propaganda. A personal, animated documentary that tells the story of the director’s upbringing in 1970-1990 Latvia during the Soviet occupation. The Soviet regime used World War II as a significant ideological weapon to intimidate and oppress the population during the Cold War. A fascinating look at history from a unique perspective.
