Cinemagic has launched its search for a young trainee film production crew for the 2023 Cross Border Short Film Academy supported by The Department of Education Ireland. From July to September, a series of film masterclasses and pre-production masterclasses will culminate in the production of a short film made by teenagers in Belfast under the guidance of industry professionals.

Participants, from Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland, aged 15-18, will have the chance to develop their talents in a range of production areas and earn a credit on the production. Cinemagic is looking for committed, talented and creative young people.
