Every year Cinemagic recruits ‘CineSeekers’ jury panels made up of 5-11 year olds to watch and judge a series of international films during various Cinemagic Festival programmes. This is the perfect opportunity for young people who love movies and who love to review them. By providing young people with a unique, creative and fun-filled outlet for world cinema, the Festival’s is to develop and nurture a broader appreciation, understanding and love of film, as well as celebrating the stories, peoples and cultures from around the globe.The jury is open to all young people from UK and Republic of Ireland.

REVIEW, DEBATE AND CHOOSE THE FESTIVAL WINNERS 
GET YOUR FILM REVIEW PACK 
RECORD AND POST YOUR REVIEWS ONLINE 

All young people participating in the juries will watch a selection of short films before choosing their favourite. The films will be screened in their original language with English subtitles where necessary. 

Please email juries@cinemagic.ie to register or fill out your details below

You will be sent an event description with further details as well as an application form that must be returned to us signed by the applicant (if over 18); or by the parent/guardian of an applicant (under 18). 

Deadline to register – 30th June. 

The Online Festival Jury Programme is a cross- border initiative and open to young people and families in Ireland and Northern Ireland. 

Cinemagic Dublin is funded by Department of Education and Skills.
