THOUGH THEY BE BUT SHORT, THEY ARE FIERCE! A collection of new world animations for children and young people celebrating the short form of movie storytelling. This is also a soft introduction to international film as all the shorts are presented in their original language with English subtitles. These vibrant, fun and easy to follow short films are a delight for movie fans both young and old.

Big Wolf lives quite contentedly alone under his tree. One day he sees a Little Wolf approaching him who seems determined to keep him company. But Big Wolf has no need for his company. He likes the quiet life and his routine. At least, that’s what he thought…

CAT DAYS (Germany)
Jiro, a little boy, feels sick. His father takes him to see the doctor. She diagnoses a harmless condition. But it shakes the core of the boy’s identity.

Maraude gets lost in the storm. Murphy gets out of his cave to help her find her home, and munch some mosquitoes… An ordinary night for two bats!

MOGU + PEROL (Japan)
A story about two friends living on an island where delicious food can be found everywhere!

Mr Wolf has just enjoyed a fine dinner. Replete, he goes off for a walk around the forest, just to make sure that everyone can see that he is indeed the strongest creature around! Until he meets a tiny little toad-like thing.

A grandmother will have to open her heart to her granddaughter in order to mourn her husband.

Daddy is no action hero, but he always saves the day!

8 year old Lila takes on the daunting task of learning how to cycle, as she faces an unfamiliar parental role-reversal at home.

One fine morning, Mr Wolf wakes up in an unusually good mood. He spruces himself up and sets off for a walk so that everyone can admire him and confirm that he is indeed the most handsome creature around! He is soon to be sorely disappointed!
